An automotive propulsion and energy concept defining how vehicles generate, convert, store, and deliver energy for motion and auxiliary loads. It governs power conversion, thermal management, controls, and performance metrics such as range, efficiency, and drivability. It does not ensure durability without appropriate thermal and electrical protection and validated control limits for intended use. It materially affects vehicle performance, operating cost, and environmental impact through efficiency, emissions, and energy management.
